Students who are interested to take admission in Manipal University will have to appear in this entrance exam. After appearing in the entrance exam, the candidates will get admission in various undergraduate and post graduate courses in the fields of Engineering, Pharmacy, Applied Sciences and many other courses. Manipal University Online Entrance Test will be organized by the Manipal University. It is a national level entrance exam. This exam helps to secure admission in the Manipal University and its constituent institutes.

Important Dates-

• Online application form will commence in the month of November 2017
• The last date to submit the application form will fall in the month of March 2018
• Slot booking will start in the third week of March 2018
• Exam will be conducted in the month of April 2018
• Result will be declared in the month of May 2018

Application Form-

• Candidates will have to fill the application form through online mode only
• Offline mode of filling up application form will not be applicable
• Application form will be issued in the month of November 2017
• Candidates can fill the application form until March 2018
• Candidates will have to fill all the relevant details which are mandatory
• Candidates must upload their scanned images of photograph and signatures
• Candidates will have to keep the print out of the filled application form for future use.

Application Fee-

• The online application fee is Rs.600 and for entrance test, the fee is Rs.1400
• The application fee can be paid through online mode with the help of the credit card/ debit card/ net banking or through Demand Draft in favor of “Manipal University” which is payable at Manipal/ Udupi
• Candidates can also submit the fee through Demand Draft which they have to send with the print copy of the filled MU OET application form to the address as-

Exam Pattern-

The exam pattern for the entrance exam is as-

For B.Tech/ B.Pharma/ D.Pharma

• The exam will be conducted through online mode only
• The duration of the entrance exam will be 2 hours thirty minutes
• The question paper will consist of MCQ’s
• There will be a total of 200 MCQ type questions

For B.Tech (LE)

• The exam will be organized through online mode
• The duration will be about one hour
• The question paper will consist of MCQ

For M.TECH-

• The exam will be organized through online mode
• The exam duration will be about one hour
• The paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions
• There will be a total of 60 questions. For MCA, a total of 100 questions will be asked in the exam
• 4 marks will be awarded to the candidates for each correct response.
• There will be negative marking of one mark for every wrong answer

Admit Card-

The admit card of the entrance exam will be released on the official website of the exam conducting authority of entrance exam.
